Melksham Lib Dems are celebrating today following their victory in the Melksham Town Council Election for Spa Ward.
Local Campaigner Peter Dauncy won the election with 732 votes (59%) against the Conservatives who polled just 432 votes (35%). The BNP trailed in a poor third with just 6% of the vote (81 votes).
Peter will be joining hardworking councillors Jon Hubbard and Terri Welch on the council, which is now not controlled by any single party.Leave a comment
