Following efforts from local councillor Jon Hubbard a public meeting has been arranged for Monday 25th January at 7pm in Melksham Town Hall to allow local residents to participate in the consultation process as the council considers how to deal with King Street Lorry Park.
Local Councillor Jon Hubbard has been leading the campaign to get the lorry park moved and following his efforts the council recently appointed consultants Mouchel to look at whether the Lorry Park should stay in King Street, be closed altogether or be moved to an alternative site in the Melksham area.
The council has commissioned the report which will be looking at a number of options for the Lorry Park including:
