People are beginning to believe that things can be different in politics. The Liberal Democrats offer the opportunity for change. Fundamental change. We don’t have to accept that our votes don’t count because it’s all a foregone conclusion. We don’t have to have our politics dictated to us by massive organizations capable of raising vast sums of money and using the press to tell us what to think.
On the other hand, the following from The Independent rather sums it up.
The Liberal Democrats are longstanding and convincing champions of civil liberties, sound economics, international co-operation on the great global challenges, and of course, fundamental electoral reform. That is why we argue that there is a strong case for progressively minded voters to lend their support to the Liberal Democrats wherever there is a clear opportunity for that party to win.
It is time to use our rotten voting system (for what we fervently hope will be the last occasion) to change the system – and deliver a new politics.
Tomorrow in Melksham, part of the new Chippenham Constituency, we have a change to vote for real change. I will be backing local resident and George Ward School govenor Duncan Hames to win. I urge you to do the same and elect an MP who will work for our community, who lives in our community, who cares for our community and is part of our community.
Vote Liberal Democrat, vote for real change and a fairer Britain.Leave a comment
